Unstoppable!!What really triggered Manchester United from trailing to win in the hard fought game?

Manchester United went to the game over the weekend to face relegation threatened Southampton in search of nothing less of a win but it first came out as a threat from a superb strike outside the box until the last minutes of the game.

Manchester United needed a gutsy second half showing to move back into the Premier League top four with a 3-2 win over Southampton.

They were trailing 1-0 at the break and were pegged back to 2-2 with just 15 minutes remaining after taking the lead for the first time.

But Romelu Lukaku’s late winner completed a dramatic success for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to maintain their stunning Premier League run under the Norwegian.

After a flat first half, the game burst into life after the break and Solskjaer says he played up the role of Old Trafford’s Stretford End in his half-time team talk to inspire his players.

“I just said I have to enjoy every single second here, and I am,” Solskjaer told MUTV after the game.”But then again you want the boys to win and get what they deserved, they deserved to win.

“We spoke about the Stretford End at half-time about them being able to suck the ball into the back of the net, and they sucked the ball in at the end but it does help with that support behind the goal.

“We had a great start. The injury broke the game up and they controlled us and made it open.”It was a fantastic strike by the kid (Yan Valery) [for Southampton’s opener]. What can you do about them? you can’t do anything.”

United have an injury concern over Alexis Sanchez after he limped off with a knee injury just after half-time.

They are still facing several injury worries ahead of their midweek trip to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

The Red Devils face a huge game in their top four bid as they head to the Emirates Stadium to take on fifth placed Arsenal who drew with Tottenham in their next Premier League game coming weekend.
