Manchester United plot massive double deal

Manchester United are considering a £155m swoop for Benfica stars Ruben Dias AND Joao Felix.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side face competition for both players from Juventus , who are also ready to meet the asking price.

The Mirror claims United are believed to have held discussions with super agent Jorge Mendes about wonderkid Joao Felix.

The 19-year-old has been hailed as the country’s brightest talent since Ronaldo and is valued by Benfica at £90m

Wolves have also been extensively linked with a player likened to Kaka, Rui Costa and even the legendary Johan Cruyff.

Felix is reported to have a €105m release clause in his contract.

The Mirror adds United have also sent scouts to watch £65m defender Ruben Dias as Solskjaer looks to bolster his defence and return the Red Devils to the top next season.

Centre-back Dias, 21, has been watched this season by a host of Europe’s top clubs including Juventus , Bayern Munich and PSG.

ans have reacted furiously after tickets for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ FA Cup clash against Manchester United later this month were on sale for £500

Wolves are bidding to reach their first FA Cup semi final since 1981 when they meet United in a quarter final tie on Saturday March 16 at Molineux.

Demand for tickets – in both home and away areas – has been high and some have found their way onto re-sale sites.

Prices for tickets on these websites are often vastly inflated over face value, and some are on sale for the 7:55pm kick off at a whopping £500 each.

The tickets, of which four are available, are in the away end and that price does not include the full charge to anybody buying them.

The website which is hosting the sale, livefootballtickets.com, also adds £150 to each order as a “service fee and tax” while customers must also shell out no less than £14.95 to collect the ticket or have it delivered.

That produces a final price of £664.95 for one ticket – well above face value with prices for the match ranging from £22 to £40

Fans on social media were shocked to see such an inflated price being charged in order to gain attendance to the highly-anticipated match.

One said: “This is just so wrong”.

“It looks like its just the away section – but still,” said another. “It’s a disgrace.”

One supporter added: “Disgraceful selling for that much. And it’s a shame people have more money than sense and are going to buy these.”
