As President Uhuru Kenyatta continues to fight the war against graft more pressure is amounting from lawmakers insisting that he should work a little bit more by taking action on government officials engaging in corruption.

According to Moiben Member of Parliament has now asked the president to take action on the leaders invoved in corruption and support the DCI and DPP office which have been attacked before for not doing their job.

While taking to his facebook account he wrote,”The offices of the DPP and DCI have been under attacks for not delivering on their mandate in the past. Now that the two current office bearers are performing their duties well, a section of leaders have made derogatory statements against these offices which is totally uncalled for.”

The MP said anyone found guilty of corruption should not be spared and should face the full force of the law.

His statement comes days after the Ksh 68 billion scandal was uncovered by the DCI which involved a number of state officials including president Kenyatta’s cabinet secretaries and DP Ruto’s allies.
