After turning around the fortunes of Manchester United since his take over in December, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s long term impact at the club has been put into question by former manager Jose Mourinho.A
Solskjaer took over from Mourinho on a temporary basis after the sacking of the Portuguese manager following a string of poor results at the club. Solskjaer has overseen 10 Premier League wins at the club and two draws whilst maintaining his unbeaten run in the league and is now favorite to land the job on a permanent basis.
Speaking while on BeIN Sports providing analysis for Fulham’s clash against Chelsea, Mourinho questioned Solskajer’s long term impact, “But sometimes in football, and you have the example with my former club (Man Utd hiring Solskjaer), that sometimes changes on the immediate – I don’t believe too much in these changes in the long term – but these changes on the immediate, there are sometimes some positive results.”
