It has as well followed that Royal media crew Steven Letoo and Waweru Nyambura have been robbed in Kirinyaga.
The two were in the company of cameramen and had gone to cover the Sixth Annual Devolution Conference at Kirinyaga University.
The robbers made away with property including Macbook Laptops, PXW Cameras, Citizen TV branded microphones, bags, money, cables and hard drives for both Citizen TV and Inoooro TV.
Letoo narrated that they had driven to Kutus to have lunch.
Upon exiting the hotel, they found the window of their car had been smashed and the items missing.
An eyewitness reported that he saw a car speeding off the scene of the crime.Its unclear how the plan was conducted with police securing the event.
Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru had promised tight security during a preparation meeting for the event.
