Controversial bloggere Robert Alai has implicated Raila’s relative for what she claims that he acquired a land in Kisumu illegally.
Alai who is a social media influencer made the allegations on his social media account saying that Ms Beryl Odinga who happens to be Raila’s sister acquired her property illegally and that it belongs to Kenya Railways Kisumu Branch.

In 2012, Beryl Odinga, along with three others was charged with acquiring Kenya Railways property illegally while serving as chairperson of the Kenya Railways Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme.
However, the charges were withdrawn, courtesy of an order from the then Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko to have the charges withdrawn under section 87(a) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
