The latest political acrimony between Deputy President William Ruto and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga has led to widespread criticisms of Mr. Odinga by William Ruto’s allies.
Ruto’s allies have sensationally claimed that Raila Odinga is against Ruto’s empowerment of the Church since he is not a Lover of the Church but instead prefers to attend Funerals all over the Country.
Led by Kabete MP James Wamacukuru, Ruto’s allies have called on Odinga to stop spreading rumours with regards to Ruto’s car gift to Kisumu Diocese Archbishop Philip Anyolo.
Raila had claimed that Ruto’s gift was rejected because it was bought with money from corruption.
“Odinga doesn’t go to church, but instead he always attends funerals. He should leave the Deputy President alone,” Wamacukuru said.
The Funerals narrative has time and again been used to castigate Raila Odinga. Is it true that the opposition Chief has got some great degree of Love for Funerals?
