The row surrounding Deputy President William Ruto’s car gift to Kisumu Diocese Archbishop Rev. Philip Anyolo continues to grow even wider.
Ruto, seemingly angered by Raila Odinga’s remarks yesterday that Ruto’s gift to the Archbishop was bought by the proceeds of corruption today took a deep swipe at the former Prime minister.
Ruto referred to Raila Odinga as a Master of Deciet who was not comfortable with him (Ruto) empowering the Church since he is a Magician who worship’s evil spirits.
Ruto presented the brand new Mitsubishi Pajero to Kisumu Catholic Archbishop Philip Anyolo during his installation in January.
On Saturday, Raila claimed that there were strict orders from the Roman Catholic Pope to have Ruto’s gift returned since the source of cash use to get it was questionable.
Ruto would on Sunday Morning direct a harsh message to Raila, a message that has not gone well with a number of Kenyans who took on the DP head on.
“The master of deceit as always is spewing desperate lies. The car gift was bought by Christian leaders including UK and myself at the request of the chair of Catholic mps.Understandably Empowering the church offends magicians and the evil spirits they worship. Shetani ashindwe! ” said Ruto.
