A woman on the first day of March touched the hearts of Kenyans when she posted her battered face after a scuffle with her husband.
The victim, identified as Susan Mwangi, alleged that her lover had physically abused her.
A bitter Mwangi posted that she was fed up with the situation and asked for forgiveness from her son.
“I can’t take it anymore son, please forgive your mama but the pain is too much to bare,” her social media post read.
She added that the person had repeatedly battered her without any regret.
“You did it without mercy but my life will always be in your hands hukujalitumetokawapi (you didn’t care where we came from) but you did again and again,” she posted.
The horrific photos touched the hearts of Kenyans who immediately offered support to her with words of encouragement.
Some Kenyans advised her to run for her dear life for the sake of her child.
The incident comes days after the case of Beryl Ouma was allegedly killed by her husband Laiko Osuriafter a fight ensued between the couple at their residence in Kahawa Sukari.
Neighbors revealed that they heard screams from the house for about three hours during the night and attempted to break into the house but Beryl came to the window and told them everything was okay.
