While many parents were busy demonstrating online over surge of corruption in Kenya under the hashtag ‘Mr President tumechoka’ in efforts to get the president to do something, some of their students in boarding school were also in agony in relations to deaf ears.
Its been reported the Bungoma Boys High School students staged protest of boycotting classes because their principal was not responding to their lamentations that were seriously affecting them.
The students complained of lack of water in the school. They said bathing, washing their uniforms, cleaning their dorms and classes is a headache.
βThe hygiene standards in the school are poor. The pressure of water in the taps is too low,β a student said.

Students said they share beds and the dorms are congested. The infrastructure is in a poor state, they said.
