Khwalale pointed out that fake pastors are misleading people in Kenya. He asked President Kenyatta and Nigeria’s President Muhammud Buhari not to condone these pastors in their respective countries.
The Johannesburg-based pastor Alph Lukau, is now facing lawsuits after it emerged that the incident was orchestrated to rob the public in the name of miracles. The man had claimed that he resurrected a dead man at his church, Alleluia International Ministries, in Sandton, Johannesburg.
South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa has since warned Church leaders in his nation against using their religious positions to exploit the people. The President said that he will not take lightly if any pastor is found guilty of the same.
The alleged resurrection of a dead man has continued to elicit mixed reactions. The incident has now being turned into a comedy show as the resurrection challenge went viral.
