President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday morning fired Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa.
Echesa has since been replaced by Amina Mohammed, who has been the Education minister in Uhuru’s latest cabinet reshuffle.
His decision to relieve Sports and Heritage Cabinet Secretary Rashid Achesa of his duties in the latest cabinet reshuffle on Friday is centred on incompetency .
Mr Kenyatta has been seemingly a worried man as looming news about firing illiterate Echeza did rounds on social media in the recent past.
Echesa served as Cabinet Secretary for Sports and Heritage for one year, a month and two days, having been appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta on January 26, last year.
In a video making rounds on social media, the former CS is seeing challenging former Prime Minister to come and sack him if he dares.
Well it seems his wish came true sooner than he anticipated, only from a higher authority. Netizens have had a field day with his sacking insisting that pride comes before a fall.
