Corruption cry in Kenya has seen unexpected action from the head of state on Friday which has involved Uhuru Kenyatta reshuffling the cabinet and firing Cabinet Secretary Richard Echesa.
In other political news,the Orange Democratic party following the NEC meeting revealed that Aisha Jumwa has been expelled as a result of her indiscipline to the party.
Speaking after the party’s National Executive Council meeting, Raila faulted politicians for ethnicising the war on graft.
“They are bold, fearless, reckless and contemptuous but a criminal is a criminal and it should not be ethnicised ,” he said.
The corruption talks have been heightened by the Arror and Kimwarer dam project scandal.
Recently Ruto commented on the matter saying “You have heard that the government has lost Ksh.21 billion in Kimwarer and Arror dams which is a flat lie. The money in question is about Ksh.7 billion and for every coin that has been paid, we have a bank guarantee,” said the DP.
