President Kenyatta invites Ethiopian private sector to support his Big 4 Agenda

President Kenyatta has today invited the Ethiopian private sector to support his Big 4 Agenda.

The President called on them to partner with Kenya in the implementation of #Big4Agenda projects in food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and affordable healthcare.

The head of state was speaking during the official opening of a two-day Kenya-Ethiopia high level trade forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia .

The President highlighted that the two counties have made a commitment to deepen trade and economic ties.

They also held discussions and renewed their commitment to the implementation of the Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia Transport Corridor projects as enablers of the transformation of thecountries.

Uhuru Kenyatta stated that LAPSSET has great promise of transforming our countries and improving the living conditions of our people.

The implementing of the common project will also contribute to the binding of the two nations.

The President’s two day visit is intentional to bolster economic and social ties between Kenya and Ethiopia and foster co-operation in areas of mutual interest.
