Rashid Echesa has been ousted as the Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Culture and Heritage with Amb Amina Mohamed taking over following Friday’s cabinet reshuffle.
In an executive directive signed by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Echesa will now be replaced by Education CS Amina Mohammed.
The order from the President reads: “…committed to enhancing efficiency, transparency and accountability at all levels of Government through a governance structure and leadership that ensures rapid delivery of public services to Kenyans in every part of the Republic.”
