The leader of Majority and Ruto;s ally all Kipchumba Murkomen has reacted following Echesa’s removal from office
While taking to his twitter account he wrote, “Congratulations to my friend Prof.George Albert Omore Magoha for your well deserved appointment. Best wishes to my sister Amb.Mohamed in her new station. To my friend Rashid Echesa good speed!”
President Kenyatta did a mini cabinet reshuffle sacking the sports minister Rashid Echesa and replacing him with Amb Amina Mohammed who until her reassignment was the Minister for Education.
He furthere nominated Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) boss Prof George Magoha to take over as Education Cabinet Secretary.
Echesa’s ministry has been on the sport for the last couple of weeks with scandals raging from issuing work permits to Pakistan belly dancers to failure to pay allowances of the amputee football team that represented Kenya in the World Cup competition.
