How should Chelsea keep the moment going against Fulham?

Chelsea look to win a weekend fixture for the first time in a month — and back-to-back games in even longer — as we make the short journey down Fulham Road to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham FC, who continue to be rather terrible despite sacking two coaches. Scott Parker is in to replace Claudio Ranieri who replaced Slaviša Jokanović — all three have coached or played for Chelsea (sometimes at the same time as the other!), which is an interesting coincidence that no one will care about if Chelsea don’t win.

And win we must, despite the rousing 2-0 victory over Spurs on Wednesday, as well as the excellent handling of the Kepa situation, and even the penalty shootout defeat in the League Cup, all which have palpably increased morale and brightened the mood around the club.

But it’s a fragile peace and one bad moment could plunge us back down into CRISIS and MUTINY and many other scary headline words.

Despite the busy fixture list and the massive pressure, the squad remains free of any significant injury problems. Eden Hazard admitted to a bit of fatigue yesterday and possibly a minor thigh injury however, so he gets a question mark as far as his status is concerned. Chelsea have Dynamo Kiev coming next Thursday, but again, we can’t really afford any slip-ups.
