Something else that has cursed Echesa’s term in the ministry is the unfilled promises to construct stadiums

Sports Permanent Secretary Kirimi Kaberia, Echesa made unending guarantees while issuing due dates by which the different stadia will be finished, none of which has happened.

Echesa toward the end of last year disclosed to Kenyans that the 30,000-seater Nyayo National Stadium, which has been shut for a long time presently, would be finished by January this year.

His adoration for political occasions, to the detriment of going to occasions including sports, legacy and culture, have seen him go crosswise over as a man who isn’t intriguing in fathoming issues in his service.

Echesa was missing at Eldoret Sports Club a weekend ago as the nation was choosing the group to the World Cross Country Championships set for March 30 in Aarhus, Denmark.
