President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday joined Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia for the official opening of a two-day Kenya-Ethiopia high level trade forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The forum will deepen trade and economic ties between Kenya and Ethiopia.
“I welcomed the Ethiopian private sector to partner with us in the implementation of #Big4Agenda projects in food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and affordable healthcare.” Stated President Kenyatta.
In the forum the president also called for the fastracking of the ongoing transformation of Moyale town into a cross-border trade hub in the region in line with the 2012 Special Status Agreement (SSA)
