If you have closely followed the story of Rashid Echesa, it is clearly evident that he despises ODM Party leader Raila Odinga.
Echesa even blamed Raila Odinga for his troubles during his troublesome tenure at the Sports Ministry. There is a time he asked Raila to stop holding meetings with a group of Luhyia leaders to plan for his outster as Sports CS.
Echesa would then tell Raila that he is not his equal and that he should sack him(Echesa) if he is the appointing authority.
Raila’s foot-soldiers were not happy with Echesa. Some of them promised to teach him a lesson of a lifetime.
It will be remembered that on August 6, 2018, Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi brawled with the now former CS at Kisumu International Airport.
MP Atandi is said to have started the argument with Mr Echesa over the CS’s comments linking Mr Odinga to an alleged plot to kick him out of the Cabinet.
Sources at the airport revealed that the two engaged in a near-fist fight after Mr Atandi told the CS to “go to school.”
Well, Echesa has since been asked. It remains to be seen if he will blame his woes on Raila this time too.
