The Deputy President William Ruto has decided to break the silence and weigh into the recent scandal involving dam construction projects in the Rift Valley.
Speaking during the Launch of State of The Judiciary, DP Ruto has termed the allegations that 21b lost on Kimwarer and Arror Dam as flat lies. This latest scandal has been hitting the headlines with top CS being mentioned in connection with the loss.
DP Ruto has though said that the money in question is only 7B but the rest has been accounted for properly.
DP Ruto has said that the idea of criminalizing every government project should stop and that all the propaganda should be avoided. DP Ruto insisted that positive and factual information enables the Judiciary to follow the right course in prosecution.
In addition, DP Ruto has said that the government is responsible and that all arms have been involved to ensure that the fight against corruption becomes successful.
