Leeds have begun an investigation after claims one of their supporters directed racial abuse at QPR fans during their match at Loftus Road.
In a statement released on Thursday morning, Leeds said: “The club are aware of a video circulating on social media from our Sky Bet Championship fixture against QPR on Tuesday evening.
“An investigation is now underway to identify those involved.
“Racism will absolutely not be tolerated by Leeds United and anyone found to be racially abusive will be banned from attending all games indefinitely.”
Luke Freeman’s early second-half strike saw QPR run out 1-0 winners on Tuesday night as Leeds missed the chance to return to the top of the Sky Bet Championship.
Leeds are bidding to return to the Premier League next season after a 16-year absence from the top flight.
They are currently third in the table, level on points with Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, who sit one place above them in the table.
