A family in Kitui county is mourning the death of their two children after a swarm of vicious bees attacked their home.
The attacked left two other children in a critical condition and are now recupperating at the Kitui Level V Hospital.
The bees also attacked the dead children’s mother and her sister. The two women are heavily pregnant and could not save the kids when the bees attacked.
According to locals, they could not save the family from the incident which happened in Ngakaani village, Yatta subcounty.
The rescue operation was disrupted as the flying insects turned hostile and attempted to attack whoever came near them.
