DCI George Kinoti has promised to uncover those executing innocent citizens.

Kinoti Thursday said he has served inside the police administration for quite a while and could distinguish those behind kidnappings and horrifying homicides.

The DCI supervisor was talking in Kayole amid the network discourse on killings by police.

He was joined by the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji.

“I need to be charged here. I remain before you and announce that anyone be it under my direction or myself that will ever conceal for somebody who has executed an honest individual. May God himself revile me. Nobody will ever cover for a cop who executes under my supervision.”


Kinoti said.

Kinoti said that, tragically, blameless individuals are being executed.

He said even some cops simply end up executing the wrong individuals and that can’t be named as extrajudicial slaughtering yet wrongdoing.

“There is no word like extrajudicial killings yet we have unlawful killings by cops. A few of us slaughter honest individuals.”

Instances of additional legal killings have been accounted for every so often.

As per a report by the International Justice Mission, 22 cases have been accounted for where the police utilized over the top power even in conditions including minors.

One instance includes a 23-year-old who died of different shot wounds to the head and the chest in 2014. Brian Ondeko was a second-hand shoe merchant in Kawangware region, Nairobi.
