Sadio Mane insists he is ready to play wherever Jurgen Klopp asks him to after bagging two goals for Liverpool against Watford. Despite the fact natural striker Divock Origi was in the team, Mane was given the role of the central frontman and did not disappoint with a superb performance. Two goals in the first half, both assisted by Trent Alexander-Arnold, fired Liverpool into an early lead in an important game for the Premier League leaders.

Mane’s second effort was an exquisite backheel finish and the forward revealed he was happy playing wherever the team need him to. He said: ‘Trent made a very good cross and I was in the box, I was a lucky boy and I scored. It’s one of [the most inventive goals I’ve scored], yes. ‘But the most important thing is the three points and we got it, so I’m happy.
