‘Expose criminals, we shall protect you,’ DPP Hajji assures Kayole residents

During an open dialogue with Kayole residents on Thursday, Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Hajji urged the residents to support the unit in peace-making by reporting criminals.

The dialogue was called for by the Kayole Community Justice Center and the Social Justice Center Working Group to liberate on matters police and community relations.

This involved victims of extrajudicial killings in the area as well as key government agencies like the Director of Criminal Investigations and community stakeholders.

The DCI also told community members that he will give them a number to report their concerns.

He also cited the introduction of a charge sheet in April to help advance prosecution of cases.
