The president of Atheist in Kenya (AIK) Harrison Mumia has opened up on how badly his baby mama treated him for being jobless.
In a live Facebook video on Wednesday, February 27, Mumia expressed disappointment in the habit adding that it had capacity to snowball to domestic animosity.
Mumia, who appeared outrightly disappointed and emotional, publicly revealed that he was a victim of the habit following dismissal from Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
As earlier reported, the AIK boss was fired by CBK that accused him of not exercising political impartiality.
The atheist said the mother of his 12-year-old son mocked him for being broke and jobless.
“Half-term break had ended and we had taken our son back to Machakos where he schools. My baby mama, however, started complaining that she had paid for all the bills while I contributed nothing. She quarreled me as our son watched. The boy even started crying. I don’t know what she gained by letting my son know that I had lost my job and that I was useless,” Mumia complained.
In his defence, he said it was the first time the woman paid school fees and other bills for the kid. He, therefore, found it outrageous for her to complain because she paid bills of her own kid.
“I have been paying all the bills since the boy began schooling. I can’t imagine that since she paid KSh 50,000 for this term, she has guts of trying to setup my son against me just because I am jobless,” added the ex-CBK staff.
When questioned by a Facebook users on why he could not use his savings to pay bills, Mumia argued that he was using the money to finance his suit against CBK.
