Anchor Yusuf Ibrahim discloses why he quits KTN NEWS

News anchor Yussuf Ibrahim on Wednesday night announced his exit from KTN, Standard Group TV station.

Through a tweet, the prime anchor indicated that he is looking forward to a new position that brings forth new challenges and adds more diverse experience to his career.

“I want to bid farewell to all KTN Kenya viewers. Today marks my last day with KTN. It’s been an amazing journey.

Since joining the station in April 2017, Yussuf has been hosting several shows including The Big Story and a weekly African program Bottomline Africa.

Prior to joining the station Yussuf worked for over 4 years at K24 TV between January 2013 and March 2017.

He also served as a reporter at Citizen TV between July 2012 and July 2013.

Yussuf graduated in 2011 from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass media.

Following his exit, fellow journalists from the station took to social media wishing him well in his future engagements.
