Kenyan Gospel Artist Ringtone has explained why he dismisses Bahati and Willy Paul as gospel Musicians.
Ringtone is one of the pioneer musicians and his comments are mostly taken with a high regard.
The Singer says that saying that Bahati and Willy are not Gospel artists was just him voicing the opinion of many Christians.
Ringtone noted that if people do not believe him, then they should consider asking random people on the streets.
Ringtone added that there is no christian who can categorize Bahati and Willy Paul’s music as Gospel Songs.
He also added that Christians have respect for talent and creativity but what they cannot agree with is the involvement with secular people and love songs more than how they praise God.
Ringtone also argued that as Gospel artists what is expected of them is to stand in the gap and tell people how the sick will be healed and giving hope to people who have given up.
Ringtone believes that Bahati and Willy Paul are out of that sector now and are doing the same things as some secular artists.
The Singer mentioned that even Kenyan Secular artists are complaining that the duo are singing secular songs.
