Detectives catch hold of billions of fake money and Gold in Ruiru

The seven fraud suspects who allegedly mimicked

Detectives investigating five men alleged to have mimicked president Uhuru and defrauded Sameer Africa Finance Director Akif Hamid Butt of Sh10 million are said to have been led to a house in Ruiru where they managed to burst a man with an estimated Ksh 8 Billion fake currency and gold.

The Bungalow situated in Ruiru,Kiambu county was holding huge sums of cash in metal boxes and materials suspected to be used in the crime.

Police have arrested three suspects in connection to the fraud

The man said he was initially an employee at Secure Africa – a company that deals with logistics. He was staying in a house owned by another suspect who has been charged with impersonating President Uhuru Kenyatta
