Yoweri Museveni is One of the World’s Best Performing Presidents! Really?

A section of analysts from the World Bank and the New York University have partnered up and issued a statement that Museveni is one of the world’s best performing presidents as a result of his positive economic growth in Uganda!

As shocking at it seems, the ranking placed Museveni as the 12th best global leader when ranked according to economic growth in respective countries.

It is believed that the Ugandan leader has undertaken numerous efforts to ensure the improvement of the country’s infrastructure since 1986.

Despite his deplorable performance in terms of press freedom and the mishandling of the opposition, Museveni outdid world renowned leaders succh as Lee Kuan, who is the backbone behind the massive growth of Singapore.

One of the main reasons why is because the study factored in the lower average regional growth in a place like Sub Sahara compared to South Asia.

In a statement to the press, here’s what the chief Economic Advisor, to President Museveni,
Stephen Miyingo, had to say:

“Leadership requires bold initiatives and President Museveni must be credited for this. It requires stringent and well taught out policies to reverse the decline our was in and revamp the economy. It is not suprising Museveni has put this country on a steady economic growth,”
