The Mois, Kenyattas and Odinga families have dominated Kenyan politics for the past 50 years. It is only during Kibaki’s era that Kenya did not have a president from the above trio.
But even then Raila Odinga played a pivotal role in propelling Kibaki to state house in 2022 and he served as Prime Minister in Kibaki’s second term.
But William Ruto is now threatening the three dynasties. Ruto is the front runner to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022 and it seems the dynasties are not happy.
It is on this basis that Kenyans are questioning Tuesday’s meeting between Raila and Gideon Moi. What were they discussing?
According to details, the two held a 4-hour closed door meeting to discuss among other issues; the handshake, graft & State of the Nation.

Raila may spend time plotting the fall of Ruto but he must know that the hustler’s match to State House is unchangeable.
