Rayvanny, Vanessa Mdee, Sauti Sol to perform alongside American artists in top Festival

Kenya’s very own Sauti Sol and Tanzanian artists Rayvanny and Vanessa Mdee will be performing alongside American artists during the Essence Festival which will be held in New Orleans, Lousiana

The artists shared the good news with their fans after the big announcement of the line up of artists headlining during the Festival.

This serves as a big deal for the artists since they will be sharing a stage with to American artists like Pharell Williams, Mary J Blige, Missy Elliot among others.

The festival is scheduled for July 4-7 and is among the biggest festival in the states.

The East African artist have started their year on a high note and are now impressing the International market in overwhelming numbers.

Rayvanny on his end says that he is greateful to be on the list and that would be the same sentiment that the rest of the artists have in regard to such an honour.

The Essence Festival, known as “the party with a purpose”, is an annual music festival which started in 1995 as a one-time event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Essence, a magazine aimed primarily towards African-American women. It is the largest event celebrating African-American culture and music in the United States.
