It can be petrifying to imagine the same person that cordially opens your gate when you get home, cuts the overgrown fences during the weekend, and always has a beaming smile when you greet them, could secretly be part of a mastermind plan to rob you and leave you high and dry!
Well, that was the fate of a Chinese couple in Kilimani after CCTV footage revealed that the guards of River Towers Apartment has parlayed with the thugs to let them inside the compound without checking or confirming their credentials.
According to information revealed by residents, the guards entered the entrance without having their credentials confirmed or their information checked!
That’s where police tied the collusion, as the guards are required to assess and record the details of any person entering the area withing a blackbook and further confirm where the said individuals are heading to before they gain entrance to the vicinity.

This was not the case as the armed thugs, for lack of a better word, waltz into the place and began robbing the Chinese couple.
Nevertheless, Mr Hang attempted to repulse the thugs with his firearm, a Gloak pistol, but was disarmed and hit on the head with a blunt object.
