Nyamira County has been marred once again by corruption case as the county speaker being summoned to appear before the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission over an employee facing charges of academic staff forgery.
The Nyamira County Sergeant at Arms was arraigned in court over forgery charges on November 30, 2017.
He and three other assembly officials are expected at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission office in Kisii town on Wednesday, February 27.
They include the Nyamira County Assembly director of human resources and a clerk.
According to the letter from EACC South Nyanza region, the four are supposed to record a statement on what they know regarding the matter.
EACC is carrying out investigations following the complaints against the Sergeant at Arms.
