A court on Tuesday released on bond a man and his wife who are charged with the murder of a Form Four girl in Kenyenya sub-county in Kisii.
The accused, Laban Nyaata Samuel and Nancy Bochere Samuel appeared before Judge David Majanja on February 5 where they pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder.
The were charged that on the night of September 23 and 24, 2018 at Mariba village, within Kisii County, jointly with others not before court, murdered Alvinah Nyabuari Moracha.
They had been remanded at the Kisii GK Prison pending a ruling on their bond application.
The body of the 17-year-old girl was found dumped in a fish pond in Mariba village.
