EXPOSED: How Gor Mahia Officials are stealing gate collections

Gor Mahia might be riding high in the CAF Confederations Cup and the Sportpesa Premier League but it has not escaped our attention that the club is in a financial crisis.

Legendary striker Denis Oliech boycotted the team’s training camp and Sunday’s match against Algeria’s Hussein Dey over unpaid salaries.

And Oliech is not the only player who has not been paid, it just happens that he is the only one who has the guts to take on the club.

We also remember how former coach Dylan Kerr ran away to South Africa after staying in a house without water and electricity. He was even forced to bathe in a swimming pool.

But it has now emerged that amid these challenges, some club officials have been stealing gate collections.

This has been revealed by fierce Organizing secretary Judith Nyangi. Nyangi shared pictures of two different tickets that were being sold at gate on Sunday.

According to her, one of the tickets was fake and the money went to some officials’ pockets. These is a really bad image and we hope the club will bring the culprits to book.
