Arsenal Have Three Injury Concerns Before Bournemouth

Arsenal welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night in the Premier League.

The Gunners come into the game sitting fourth in the Premier League after 27 games.

Arsenal are a point above Man United, while Chelsea (who have a game in hand) are three points further back.

Bournemouth are tenth in the top flight following a 1-1 draw with Wolves last weekend.

Arsenal have three injury concerns
Following Arsenal’s match against Southampton on Sunday, Unai Emery has three main injury problems before Bournemouth.

Alex Iwobi started against the Cherries, however the winger was subbed out the game for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with 15 minutes to go.

Iwobi needed to leave the match with a knock.

After the game, Emery made the following comment on the Nigerian international:

I hope it’s only a knock, nothing more important. I hope he can play Wednesday.

Earlier in the match, Stephan Lichtsteiner was replaced by Laurent Koscielny.

The Swiss international also suffered an injury against the Saints.

Lichtsteiner was called upon as Ainsley Maitland-Niles wasn’t fit enough for Sunday’s fixture.

On his right-backs, Emery said:

Lichtsteiner has back pain, but I hope he can be OK for Wednesday, Maitland-Niles as well.

Of course, Hector Bellerin is now out for the season after his injury issues.
