It is hard to doubt the talent of Gor Mahia’s Rwandese import Jacques Tuyisenge. The man is a goal machine who delivers on the big stage.

And he proved his credentials as a big match player with a sucker punch of a goal to seal the 2-0 win against a very stubborn Hussein Dey.

Gor needed to be at their level best against the Algerians who spend most of the time on the ground.

Tuyisenge’s strike now makes him the leading top scorer in the competition with three goals. This is despite the fact that the striker has been strugggling with a niggling knee injury for the better part of the season.

He also missed the second group D match against Petro Atletico. Tuyisenge’s strike partner Nicholas Kipkirui is second on the log with 2 strikes.

No team has scored more goals in the competition than Gor Mahia’s seven strikes. It is safe to say that Hassan Oktay’s boys are entertaining this season
