You may hate him or love him but you will agree with me that William Ruto is the most intelligent politician of our time. This is the only man who has taken on both Raila Odinga and Daniel Moi and won.
Before forming the Jubilee Alliance with Uhuru in 2013, Ruto had set his eyes on the presidency in 2022. But he knew it would not be easy since the Mt. Kenya region have never supported any candidate apart from theirs.
So the man from Sugoi knew that the David Murathes and other politicians from the region will one day try to run away from the MoU between him and Uhuru.
Ruto devised a way to nullify Mt. Kenya using their own tactics. He is the one who championed for the dissolution of TNA and URP to form the Jubilee Party.
In the runner-up to 2017 elections, Ruto started nullifying all potential threats in Central Kenya. He made sure William Kabogo did not retain his sit as Kiambu governor. He also killed the career of Peter Munya. Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth also fell to his sword.
We are now in 2019 and Mt. Kenya has woken up. They don’t want Ruto to be President. But who will lead them in saying no? All their leaders are gone. They’re walking around like headless chicken.
