Gospel Artist explains why he sings ‘half naked’

Tanzanian gospel Artist Annoint Amani was forced to explain why he sings his gospel songs ‘half naked’

In his songs, the musician has in some scenes been captured shirtless and with his clothes having open spaces.

In another scene,the artist is seen wearing a pamper without any other clothes on him.

This rose controversy with some questioning why he had to do that yet the expectation that people have toward Gospel Artists is them dressing up in a decent manner.

Annoint Amani however says that the Bible does not restrict him from doing what he did.

He also defends his move adding that even Jesus was crucified when he was half naked and that is not a big deal.

The singer says that secular artists do anything to be relevant and thrive in the industry and that he is why he mixes his gospel music with controversy so that he can attract people to get the God given message.

Annoint Amani says that his intention was to attract people to his song by dressing naked.

He maintains that if you want to preach to the people who are lost in the worldly pleasures you have to do something they can relate with.
