Police have launched a probe into the death of a Form Three student who is alleged to have committed suicide at Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
The 17-year-old had been admitted to the emergency clinic on Friday griping stomach paina and retching.
Authorities said that the girl probably committed the act after discovering that she was pregnant.
As per initial discoveries, checks had uncovered that she was nine weeks pregnant.
The lifeless body was discovered hanging in the can on Saturday evening after she was accounted as missing from her bed.
