Zinedine Zidane’s Stunning Chelsea Transfer Plan To Sign Four Players Explained

Chelsea boss Sarri could be sacked if the Blues lose to Manchester City in the EFL Cup final on Sunday afternoon.

The Italian is hanging to his job in west London by a thread after recent defeats to the likes of Arsenal, Bournemouth, Manchester City and Manchester United.

And The Sun say that, despite Chelsea being slapped with a transfer ban, Zidane is plotting a huge spending spree should he take over in the capital.

The Frenchman has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid in the summer.

And a move to United now appears unlikely given the club’s fine form under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Chelsea will be banned from signing players for a year from January 2020 onwards.

And The Sun say Zidane is planning to sign four players this summer in an attempt to stop the club from free falling.

Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi is wanted as an upgrade on Gonzalo Higuain.

Real Madrid star Isco, who played under Zidane during his time in the Spanish capital, is also under consideration.

The Spain international has struggled for minutes at the Bernabeu this season.

And a Premier League transfer could now be on the cards.

Napoli bulldozer Kalidou Koulibaly is another Zidane Chelsea transfer target.

And so too is Alex Telles, who has impressed for Porto this season.

Chelsea are not the only club interested in securing Zidane’s services, though.

Juventus are also eyeing a move for their former midfielder.

Massimiliano Allegri could leave his post in Turin if they fail to win the Champions League this season.

And that could pave the way for Zidane to reunite with former Real talisman Cristiano Ronaldo.
