A form three student was found dead for attempting to conduct an abortion.
According to area chief Titus Tonui confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as a student from Kisiara Secondary School.
According to Tonui, the girl was pregnant and is suspected to have tried to conduct an abortion that resulted in death.
Reports indicate that suspected father of the unborn baby has disappeared.
However there are no leads why he disappeared reports indicate that the man may have gone into hiding following the incident.
The body of the decead has been moved to Kapkatet Hospital mortuary with police launching investigations into the incident.
This comes a few weeks after Human Rights activist Caroline Mwatha was found dead after what police investigations revealed was a botched abortion.
