We always relate bright students to a successful life after school-life.

Sadly! Some intelligent students are wallowing in distress outside there leaving the few whose plight have been aired through media and got the necessary assistance.

Depressing news about a man from Siaya County who excelled in KCSE by scoring clean A’s of 81 points in 2015 but is currently doing menial jua kali jobs since he cannot afford University fees.

Moses Oduor revealed that his good grades secured him a slot to study Medicine at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

However, he was unable to join the institution due to lack of funds. He then resorted to doing odd jobs in Nakuru – where he currently lives.

In an interview with media, Oduor explained that his childhood dream was to become a pilot and would like well-wishers to assist him.

”My passion has always been to become a pilot since I was young. I have not been able to join a piloting school because of poverty.

“I come from a humble family. I am an orphan. If you are able to assist me to achieve my dream, I’ll really appreciate,” he narrated.

Do you support Oduor’s assertions?
