Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still refers to Sir Alex Ferguson as ‘the boss’ or ‘the gaffer’. The managerial icon used to get super anxious about the games against Liverpool and he took to any ruse available to end up on the winning side, including his famous mind games.
Ole doesn’t think he will play any games with Jurgen Klopp though as he said: ”Nah. I don’t think Jurgen Klopp will read what I say, I’m not gonna read what he says. No plans.”
However, he’s very open to having Sir Alex around to remind players of what the rivalry means to him and the club.
Ole added: ”(Sir Alex Ferguson) would be welcome to have his talk to the players if he wanted to, the gaffer, because we know how much it meant for him to overtake Liverpool. I think our players know what it means for everyone at Man United.”
