Through the University Education Permanent Secretary Collete Suda has asked the University Council to consider sacking some of their non-essential staff.
This after the Ministry reported the funding to Universities have reduced. To accommodate and sustain easy learning in the institutions the ministry insists that the some of the staff should be laid off.
