Four culprits have been nabbed on Friday after a CCTV recorded them breaking into vehicles at a parking lot.
The suspects known as Joseph Kuria Wangari, Rosaline Wangari Mwihaki, Jane Muthoni Ndung’u and Rose Wairimu Kihato were spotted in a CCTV footage entering Jambo Hotel parking lot aboard a Toyota Fielder.
They later alight and one of the suspects goes directly to a parked car and breaks into it as his accomplices keep guard.
After stealing valuables from the car, the suspect moves to another before they drive off in the vehicle they had come with.
The whole incident at Mukuyu trading centre took place within five minutes.
APolice tracked the Toyota Fielder with preliminary investigations revealing they had hired it as a taxi.
The four appeared before Murang’a Resident Magistrate Sheila Nyaga and are yet to take plea.
