A man has been arrested after a gang hacked a woman to death, injured her husband and raped their three granddaughters in Litein, Kericho.
The 30-year-old suspect was arrested and positively identified by three victims of the attack, DCI boss George Kinoti said on Thursday.
The gang of four armed with crude weapons broke into their Litein house, injured a 78-year-old man and killed his wife aged 73.”The men also robbed them of unknown amount of money and sexually assaulted their grand granddaughters three girls aged 11, 13 and 20 years, positively identified the man after an identification parade was conducted,” Kinoti said.
“Detectives are doing everything possible to bring all the four suspects to justice.”
During the incident, the house help was hit with a blunt object and seriously injured.
