Detectives are holding 14 people who is believed to be part of a gang who ruthlessly murdered an elderly woman in Litein, Kericho and defiled her three grand daughters.
The suspects were arrested after a nine-year-old kid who escaped unhurt positively identified him, revealed that the thugs blindfolded their victims before attacking them one by one using knives and iron bars as he watched.
Of the 14 suspects, police believe three are members of the dreaded four-man gang after they were positively identified in a parade mounted at Litein Police Station.

During the incident, the thugs managed to make away with unknown amount of money.
A house help and husband of the deceased were left hit with blunt objects leaving them with serious injuries.
The three girls positively identified the man after an identification parade was conducted by the investigating team.
Kericho county police commander James Mugera confirmed Chepkwony who was unwell and resigned to a wheel chair, was hit on the head.
